Snow? Snow? No. No snow.

I'm dyin' here! It's December 20th and we've had but a few light dustings of the white stuff! It's times like this that I have to remind myself that winter is not well underway by Christmas, but technically winter has only just begun :(

And the worst part? The teasing! Oh, the teasing! We're supposed to be getting "hammered" by a winter storm moving through. Yesterday the local weather said to expect 4" to fall on Friday. Decent...not great...but I'll take it. Now? It's down to expecting 1 - 1 1/2"! What the what?! SO sad. And it's so close, too! The snow is just north! We've been floating about 5-10 degrees above normal all December. So if temperatures were where they should be, all the rain would be glorious, beautiful snow.

Look at that blue up there :( So jealous!
38 degrees. Eight degrees colder and that 'lil graphic would be snowflakes :(

Well...if we don't see a white Christmas, maybe I can at least hope for a white birthday?

On my way home from work on Monday...livin' out in the boonies :)
So for now I'll just have to settle for the gray, goose down skies of a December without snow. I love Michigan Decembers, though. So gray and dreary. It makes the spring seem that much more vibrant :)
