Pictures!

I know I already made a post about the big 70th anniversary party, but I took my pictures off my camera last night, and came across a few snow pictures from last week :)

So, without the classic ramblings...

Unfortunately, sometimes when we have huge, heavy snowfalls, the plow guy doesn't come through until all the snow has fallen. I mean, it makes sense; why plow if it's just going to need it again in a few hours? Too bad for us, when we have to go somewhere or have people coming over on those rare occasions, it's up to us (i.e. Dan) to shovel ourselves out. Hahaha! Dan...he was NOT happy when I took this picture.

Poor babe, this was NOT a fun experience
Our woods :)
I love when the snow piles up on the branches. So magical!
I was beginning to think we should shovel the deck so, you know...it wouldn't collapse.
Last night Dan installed my Valentine's Day present! When the previous owners of our house moved out, they took everything they could - including the cabinets in the laundry room. I've been using the mud room for all my cleaning/random stuff I'd usually put in said cabinets, but my time has finally come! I'm not done though! We're going to put a little hanging bar in between them, for sweaters and things that need to air dry. And the insides of the cabinets are pretty...rustic...so I'm going to jazz them up with some Heidi magic.

Before (don't mind the bath mat that's drying)
After!
Dan added the moulding and did the stain/finish himself. He's so handy to have around.
Now a few party pics :)

When I say there was lots of food...
I MEAN THERE WAS LOTS OF FOOD
...which resulted in endless grazing :)
