I've been saving these "before purchase" pictures of our house for MONTHS, in anticipation of this post! I saved them to my computer, knowing I'd forget to take "before" pictures in my eagerness to start renovating and changing everything.
The only summer project left to do is for Dan to finish making the living room end tables. He has them stained and ready to assemble, then poly. (I was hoping to strip and re-paint the outside doors, but in my exhaustion it's become of zero importance to me.) Fall projects will be the upstairs reading nook (building a bookshelf and buying an armchair) and Dan building his workbench in, where else, his workshop.
This isn't the whole house at all. I only did "after" pictures for the "befores" that I could find online. These don't include the half bath, laundry room, mud room, reading nook or basement. But it's enough for now.
Let's see - new paint on all walls, new carpet, new furniture, new lamps, new wall art, new clock
-----------------------------------------------------------------
New window treatments, new entertainment center (shout out to my crafty husband for building it!), new t.v., new paint, new carpet.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
New window treatments, new paint...that's about all here
-----------------------------------------------------------------
All new appliances, new cabinet hardware, new paint. A long-term goal is new back splash and new countertops. I'm not a huge fan at all - but can definitely live with it for a few years.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Oh boy. New carpet, new paint, new window treatments, new wall art, added a ceiling fan
-----------------------------------------------------------------
New mirror, new back splash, new paint, new toilet, new shower head, new towel racks, added vanity hardware
-----------------------------------------------------------------
New carpet, new window treatments, de-wallpaper-ed, new paint, painted and poly'd the old dresser. We're planning to install ceiling fans (matching the master) to the two upstairs bedrooms...but not yet. Not yet. I made this headboard a few weeks ago. A little homemade looking, but it gets the job done.
----------------------------------------------------------------
New carpet, new window treatment, new paint
-----------------------------------------------------------------
New paint (oh, that hideous pink-ish hue...), new toilet, new back splash, new shower rod/curtain, new towel racks, vanity hardware, new shower head.
WHEW. All in 7 months' work (almost to the day!)

You know I got EP looking at these. I'm SO SUPER SAD it's going to be sooo long until I get to meet your house face to... um, drywall? for the first time. Love it! Love your style. Love that it's yours. :) And, of course, love YOU.
