This morning was a weird morning.
I had somewhat strong intentions to visit the gym today. But as I woke up with en entire nostril clogged, I thought it a better idea not to make the trip. My alarm went off at 5:45, and instead of waking up to a sleeping husband, I woke up to the bathroom light on. He was up??? (Turns out, only for a middle of the night bathroom trip. Funny that his "middle of the night" is my wake-up time.) For some reason...that whole situation caused me to hit snooze for the next 30 minutes. (Sorry Dan. I know you hate that.) This, in the domino effect of my schedule, meant no time for devotions this morning :(
It's softly snowing and my extremities are freezing. Nothing would please me more than a snow day (HA! We don't have those here) and a heating pad.
I'm about to finish reading 13 Days, a memoir Bobby Kennedy wrote about the Cuban Missile Crisis. Much more interesting than you'd think. I learned a lot about the Crisis, but also war in general and how the U.S. Government works under pressure. (Also, bearing in mind the JFK was probably one of the most corrupt Presidents ever, I don't think he's given enough credit for the outcome of the Missile Crisis.)
Tonight Dan and I start a ten week Bible study at our church. Last time we did a six week-er...and it was bearable. The people in the group (bless their hearts), tend to get ridiculously off topic and nobody has the heart the guide us back. Here goes nothin'.
It's only Tuesday, but this week on the work front has been less than awesome. Due in part to the fact that I have a complete and total lack of motivation. Could be the weather, could be my cold, could be the two GIANT knots in my back. Here's counting down to March 26th - my last day in-office for an entire week!
I've been watching The Bachelor this season (judgment is welcome because I know it's deserved). It started as a joke and I all-too-quickly (like within the first thirty minutes) was sucked in as a serious, committed viewer. Anybody out there who hates Vienna? UGH! Get rid of her already! She has ginormous eyelids and a weird/ugly smile. Not to mention she seems clingy, manipulative and self-centered. BUT, next week's episode is the family visits and I saw a clip of Vienna's dad saying to Jake, "I expect her to be treated like a princess!" To which Jake looks all surprised/disgusted. I hope it's the end for her.

Out w/V...can't believe she's still there :-)
YES! I'm SO sad Ali left though! With her gone...I'm afraid he's going to choose Vienna :(
