Ah, to wedd in the fall...

On October 20, my college roommate got married! Every year since college, things have come up (whether good or bad) to bring us college gals together. And this year, thankfully, it was to rejoice with Laura as we witnessed her makes vows to her new husband Geoff.

Oh man. This was the wind-down trip to my CRAZY year of travel. (In the last twelve months I've boarded 18 planes. That's right. EIGHT. TEEN.) But what an end! The weekend was full of gorgeous weather, a super cute wedding and late nights, early mornings and belly laughs. It was so refreshing to be with these ladies again.

It's such a treat to reunited, but every reunion just make me almost depressed that I don't live closer to Becca, Laura, Katie, Emily, Renee, Natalie, Danielle...all the girls I was close to in college. When we're together, we talk all. the. time. about how hard it is to make close, bosom friends after you graduate. College is such a pivotal time - you grow with people so much, you're forced onto each other when you share a room...there's just so much that happens that can't be re-created once you enter the real world of adulthood. Try as I may, I probably won't ever make friends here in Michigan that I can openly and comfortably talk to about sex (yes), birth control, spiritual struggles, farting one time at work...loudly...I so wish we were closer. Like close enough to drive over for an evening and watch a movie. *sigh*

Alas, the reunions are what we have, so that's what we enjoy :)

Ha! I didn't put this on facebook because I knew I'd get in trouble...

These two are so, so, so, fun. Heart and soul!

Katie, in duty with the veil

These two have a history of finding veils at other people's wedding and sneaking into bathrooms to put them on...I don't think I need to say anything else...

Fun Team! I wish Natalie and Emily had been in this picture too!

So cute! I love the blue and white striped straws!

Laura tossing. Hahaha! Natalie said something about husbands being nice to have around and Shameka mumbled to herself, "I need to get me one of those..."

Me and Laura...roomates for life!

Aaaaand...you can't end an event without the classic Bryan College group shot :)
