Moving on...there are projects to be done and projects that have been done at the new homestead. To start, here's my weekend project...the office...
I don't know how all of those seasons of The Simpsons got strewn all over the floor, but I'm 100% sure Dan does. I'm going to be cleaning out these boxes/totes and finding a home for the countless DVD seasons stacked up in between the shelves

AH! Look away! The office closet. When we moved this was our to-go place for all of our crap. Now that we're settled, it's time to re-organize the chaos and at least make it semi-easily accessible. (Also, I have two winter candles I need to put away, but can't, because my Christmas decor is in a tote on the bottom...and I've just GOT to get to it.)

Onto the fun stuff...neat and organized finished projects :)
Our new curved shower rod for the guest bathroom. Along with the shower curtain that my sis got me for my birthday. I love it!

Bathroom again. It's wrinkled. I know. I'm looking into it.

I just got this magazine basket at Target and I'm lovin' it! I thought it would be WAY too big, but it's the perfect size!

The window treatments have arrived, ladies and gentlemen! Back ordered since mid-November, the fabric finally came in! We're still waiting on our front door shade, because it's cordless and needed some kind of extra component.

Close-up of the fabric

Dumb cords. We wanted cordless, but didn't want to shell out an extra $250 for it. The front door is cordless and I'm ultra excited about that. I'm getting used to it though...I'm sure a year from now I won't think twice about it :)

Our room t.v., finally mounted! I'm not a huge fan of the cords hanging out the bottom, but we didn't want to drill extra holes in the wall just for cords. Nobody sees it except us, so if I can get over it...nobody will care :)

The flameless candles EVER. From Target. They look absolutely like a real flame, but you don't have to worry about knocking them over, blowing them out, or wax dripping all over the place. They smell heavenly too!

I'm happy to announce: Bathroom mirror sage - OVER! This was the fifth (yes, fifth) mirror we bought for our bathroom and it finally works! I'd been looking for brown/espresso frames, not even realizing all along that the white backsplash, white sink and white toilet call for something airy and light, not powerful and overbearing (like all the mirrors we tried). I L.O.V.E. love it!

Mirror again

Beautiful solid wood frame, painted by yours truly. Slap some primer on, give it a good sand and wipe down...add a little White Dove Benjamin Moore paint (in a Satin finish)...you got yourself a mirror!

Ha! I think this picture is funny :) Our toit-y with the candle my mom got me for Christmas that randomly matched my backsplash :)

Also...I'm looking for a floor vase for an empty, lonely corner of our living room. I spotted this bad boy at World Market for a mere $50. I can't decide if it's too earthy looking, or if I want something that looks more porcelain. (But with porcelain, comes price) It's definitely tall enough, and our TALL ceilings call for TALL accessories. I'm going to consult my decor inspiration (my mother-in-law) and ask her opinion before I act on it.

Sneak peak at the exercise room :) It's so close to being done I can taste it! All that's left is painting the trim and door and installing them. (Then laying the foam floor down, but that'll be a breeze.) The treadmill is up and running and it's been glorious! (However...now that I have a sit-up bench, my abs are screaming at me, "Why did you wait so long to work us? We're in SO much pain!" Seriously...so much pain.) This is Dan sealing the mud container...and I'm not sure what's happening with his hair :)

Tonight I'm making cheese bread and banana bread, watching Modern Family and possibly enjoying a nice glass of wine...

I loved what you said about y'all first apartment! I'm sure I'll feel the same way when we leave in only two months...while I HATE it right now there are so many good memories :) I'm also glad to know that Ryan and I aren't the only ones with TONS of TV seasons!
